September Favourites

I know October has been around for three days already but some of my recent favourites I didn’t discover before late September and I wanted to test them long enough to actually give you guys a good review.

So… here they are :)

Real Techniques foundation brush, Gliss Kur 6 Wunder Öl-Essenz, Isadora Twist-Up Gloss Stick, ANNY nail hardener

Gliss Kur 6 Wunder Öl-Essenz by Schwarzkopf
Gliss Kur 6 Wunder Öl-Essenz by Schwarzkopf. This is a German hair product but I think you can buy it in many different countries. You can use it before or after washing your hair or even use it as an overnight hair treatment. It doesn’t only leave your hair shiny, soft and easy to untangle but also protects against heat.

Isadora Twist-Up Gloss Stick
Isadora Twist-Up Gloss Stick in 07 Coral Cocktail. It has the consistency of a lipstick, the shine of a lipgloss and the nourishing features of a lip balm. It is long lasting and so caring that you don’t have to re-apply it too often. The colour fades out slowly and very evenly.

ANNY nail hardener
ANNY nail hardener. My nails have always been thin and brittle. But after applying this product for about a month about 3 times per week my nails actually grew longer than ever. It gives a nice shine, so you can wear it under nail polish or alone.

Pink

I have been in Marbella for two days now and it has been absolutely amazing! So nice to swim in the sea and have dinner by the beach! Of course I had to do a tiny bit of shopping as well ;)

I know Essie has been around for a while but this is actually my first Essie nail polish. The colour is light pink and called Muchi Muchi.

What is your favourite Essie colour? Might have to get more of this amazing stuff ;)

Summer feet

No need to pay money for a salon pedicure when you can get it at home. I love these products for super soft summer feet: Pumice stone with nail brush and a loofah sponge.

My favourite nail polish is the Volume gloss by P2 in the colour 070 Funky Babe.

July Favourites – Skin care and light make-up

When summer comes around you don’t want to spend too much time on getting ready and doing your make-up. You just want to get out to enjoy the sun – and of course still look your best!

I found some products that are just perfect for this season.

BB Cream and Creme de Corps by Kiehls
BB Cream and Creme de Corps by Kiehls

I have been a Kiehls fan for quite a while now and these are my latest discoveries. The BB cream has just the right amount of coverage to let your skin tone shine through and still hide imperfections. I don’t like wearing heavy foundations in summer cause when you tan, your skin tone changes and you still want a good colour match for every day.

The Creme de Corps is perfect after sun bathing. It leaves your skin hydrated and soft and has a lovely scent.

Totally Inense Treatment Oil by Percy & Reed and Guerlain Le Top Coat Gel
Totally Inense Treatment Oil by Percy & Reed and Guerlain Le Top Coat Gel

Again two amazing products for beach days. I love the hair oil because it prevents my hair from splitting. You need that little bit of extra care when your hair is exposed to salt water and sun all the time. You only need 3 pumps and work it into your wet hair.

The gel like polish by Guerlain is a top coat that makes your nails a little stronger without looking to thick. You can wear it alone or as a top coat over your regular nail polish and gives your nails a shiny look. Goodbye brittle nails!

High Beam by Benefit and Baby Lips by Maybelline
High Beam by Benefit and Baby Lips by Maybelline

High Beam by Benefit is an amazing highlighter that reflects sunlight and adds a bit of a glow to your tanned skin. Lightly dab it onto your cheek bones and below the eyebrows for a shiny finish.

As I said before, heavy make-up is nothing for hot summer days. Maybelline Baby Lips is a lip balm with a hint of colour. I wear it in Cherry Me.

What are your summer favourites?
